Akasa Stays began with a simple idea: to create places we’d genuinely love to stay in ourselves. Places that feel special from the moment you arrive, where beautiful surroundings, thoughtful design and the little details all come together to make your time away truly memorable.
We wanted to create more than simply somewhere to sleep. Our vision is to bring together beautiful spaces, premium comfort and relaxed, genuine hospitality, giving guests a place where they can settle in, slow down and enjoy their time away at their own pace.
What started with our first property has grown into a bigger vision for Akasa Stays – a carefully curated collection of unique stays in destinations we love. Each property will have its own character and sense of place, while sharing the same attention to comfort, quality and the overall guest experience.
As Akasa Stays continues to grow, our focus will remain the same: creating memorable places where guests can relax, reconnect, explore somewhere new and leave with experiences they’ll remember long after their stay is over.

What began with Christie and Daryl’s own connection with Bali grew into a desire to create memorable stays in places they love. Akasa Stays brings together beautiful spaces, thoughtful design and a relaxed approach to travel — with Bali just the beginning.
Meet Christie
Christie is the planner and organiser behind the Akasa Stays guest experience. From managing bookings and accommodation platforms to coordinating photography, property listings and the many details that happen behind the scenes, she helps ensure every stay is carefully presented and thoughtfully managed.
With an eye for detail and a love of travel, Christie is focused on creating an experience that feels easy from the moment a guest discovers an Akasa property through to the end of their stay. For her, it’s the small touches, clear communication and thoughtful planning that can turn a beautiful property into a truly memorable escape.
Meet Daryl
Daryl is the hands-on side of Akasa Stays. While Christie keeps the planning, bookings and guest experience moving, Daryl focuses on the practical details that help bring each property together and keep everything running as it should.
From improvements and maintenance to those finishing touches that make a space feel comfortable and complete, he enjoys being involved in the physical side of creating each Akasa stay. His practical approach complements Christie’s attention to planning and detail, giving Akasa Stays the balance of thoughtful management and genuine hands-on care.
